When I read Bear’s heart-wrenching story I felt I should link to it for more people to read. OMGosh! I’m so sorry. I treasure every moment I have with my boy and can only imagine the pain of the loss of your best friend Joni. I cry just thinking of him.
Bear passed away only 5 days [...]

My mom had asked me to look into the newer cold product here in Canada called Cold F/X. When I went to the health food store the owner just happened to have a product on sale which, she [...]

I’ve considered this long and hard. There could even be smoke coming out of my ears. I should have followed through with the sciences, but I’ll do my best with logic.
Here’s the timeline of events:

Went to vet for eye on Oct 1st, scratch found in 6 o’clock [...]

Thought I’d better say something about sugar and cancer. Sugary foods like fruit are not indicated in a cancer diet. My assumption right now is that Buddy is in remission. Denial or reality I’m not sure! I don’t see the cancer, in his bloodwork or his state of health. The Internet is sooooo helpful in so many ways. I joined a couple canine cancer email yahoogroups and now have a wealth of hands on experience at my fingertips. On one group I found information about a study on Buddy’s specific type of cancer, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma or CTCL. It took a bit of scanning through [...]

…he has to live in a bubble! That’s how dangerous this stuff is and they just keep on spraying it, no masks, I think they had gloves. Noticed several “pesticide warning signs” around the neighbourhood as well. It’s everywhere, even in the air, and on my shoes when I come in the house. My poor dog! I have to take him outside the city just to go to the bathroom…
