Well his stomach is bloated and his stool has gone soft again. So I guess it’s the beef, and he loves it so much, it just really doesn’t agree with him!
I’ve really learned a lot by writing down everthing Buddy’s eating as repetitive as it is. He does the best on just chicken. I’m considering a meal of white fish cooked lightly once in a while. He gets enough fish oil and flax oil so he doesn’t need salmon or anything REALLY oily. He’s been getting so much oil over the past few months that I’m sure he could swim in the ocean and not be cold. He’s got a nice layer of blubber all over and a beautifully shiny coat! I love him, too much I guess!
We’re going to get him down a pound or two but slowly. He’ll be much better for it!

HI, great job feeding buddy. The diet reminds me of a book by a holistic veteranarian Dr. Martin Goldstein. His brother Robert Goldstein (and wife Susan) wrote a book Wellness & Longevity Program that was very helpful for me when my cat became ill…mostly old age. Robert’s book goes in depth about treating cancer as well as tweaking what to feed and keeping the body in an alkaline cancer reducing state instead of an acidic cancer feeding state. The Potato Peeling Broth keeps the body flushing toxins through the kidneys and adding beneficial minerals such as potassium to the diet. Page 319 is also interesting…Step 2…Overvaccinations can compromise the immune system, set in motion an autoimmune reaction and set the stage for the development of cancer…For animals with cancer, give (Homeopathic Thuja Occidentalis) just one dose on one day and then stop. (Cat/small dog-up to 14 lb 1 pellet, Medium dog-15-34 lb 2 pellets, Large/Giant dog-35+ lb 3 pellets). To administer: *Fold a 3″x5″ index card lengthwise. *Drop into the fold one to three pellets (w/o touching the pellets). *With your fingers outside the card crush the pellets into a powder. *Dump the powder into your animal’s mouth (landing on the tongue or inside the lips is fine).
